Alpha Xi Delta was founded in 1893 at Lombard College in Galesburg, Illinois. Alpha Xi Delta is one of the oldest women’s fraternal organizations in the United States. The ten women who began this legacy had a vision of helping women realize their potential. Today, their vision is still our vision. We continue to follow the values our Founders instilled; Sisterhood, leadership, knowledge and service to our communities.
The Epsilon Pi chapter came to Jacksonville State University in 1968. Alpha Xi Delta was the first Greek organization to be colonized on campus. I became a part of the Alpha Xi Delta legacy and sisterhood in the fall of 2012.
